Frowning, when Fuuka finally revealed what their leader had to do - and what he had to give up, in exchange for the rest of them to continue living peacefully.
It was fitting, in a way. The type of person he was, and though there was an obvious flicker of saddness at the news, Shinji couldn't help but feel a wave of respect that finally caused the cloud to mellow into quiet snowfall again.]
