I'm not sure how Sakura-chan's powers work, but that was the main way I communicated with my team back at home, actually. Juno allowed me to communicate telepathically... along with other navigator functions, of course.

[Tartarus had crumbled, so it couldn't have been that. But with the falling of Tartarus was supposed to be the end of the Dark Hour, as well. Then again, would it have been possible to summon Personas outside of the Dark Hour...?]

I can't say that I am. My team and I fought during a time called the Dark Hour, which would happen after midnight each day... Most people were unaware of it. And we usually fought them in a tower called Tartarus.

Well, it would make sense if you're not aware of those things. Tartarus was destroyed, and the Dark Hour ceased to exist alongside it.

[Dark Hour. . . Tartarus. . . yeah, those are both unfamiliar terms for him]

We never ran into either of those things during our-- missions. [carefully replacing the word "heist" with "mission" again] We would actually use a phone app to travel there, but in order to do so, we needed. . . certain coordinates.

The coordinates of a dungeon created by the massively distorted desires of a person. A "Palace."

[A noise of awe.]

I've never heard of such a thing... Not the phone app of which you speak or... of dungeons created by distorted desires. How strange.

Does that have something to do with your outfits, as well?

[She didn't get to see Akira's but is assuming that he did have one, since Futaba and Makoto did.]

[and she'd be right about that, of course]

It does. Those outfits are what protect us from a Palace's distortion. They're physical manifestations of our "wills of rebellion."

Oh... [Can you feel that bit of awe flowing through the connection.] That sounds... really cool...

[why didn't her group get outfits made out of the will of rebellion, whaaaaaat!]

It is pretty neat.

[he admits with a smile, and appreciation meets her awe]

The outfits are based on our own personal ideas on what "rebellion" looks like. So they reflect our inner selves as much as our Personas do, I'd say.

...I'm actually kind of jealous.

[...fuuka, he can still hear things said softly over the transmission.]

I bet we could find you a cool outfit at a nearby costume shop, you know?

[She quickly calms, then looks curiously at Akira.]

Ah, but... I'd like to see yours? [She offers a small smile.] If you're okay with showing me.

Well, I suppose secret identities don't matter much between Persona users. [also? you suck at keeping secrets, Akira] I'll show you the next time I need to summon, okay?
