((Note that Fuuka doesn't yet have a bird to take written messages, so any threads here will initially be a private telepathic conversation between Fuuka and your character.))
[Shinjiro had asked to talk to Fuuka later that evening, and Fuuka was sure she hadn't been very good at disguising her upset about Prompto leaving. Not that she did it intentionally so much as it was just... a natural behavior of hers, to try to put a friendly smile on for the sake of others and not wanting to bother them.
But of course her senpai would have none of that.
...but to be honest, it would be nice to have someone to talk to about this. She's just been stewing in her own thoughts about all the ways this could go wrong and it's exhausting. So that evening, she heads downstairs and sees Shinjiro already waiting for her at "their" table, a cup of tea waiting. She gives a small smile, and thought it's somewhat weak, it's genuine.]
Hello, senpai.
[She comes over and takes a seat, grabbing the cup and taking a sip. The warm, sweet liquid helps her relax, and she takes a deep breath of the aroma and lets it out as she sets the cup back down, but keeps her hands wrapped around the warm ceramic.
[Out of everyone he knew, Fuuka was perhaps the easiest to figure out whenever it came to something being wrong. A talent that only proved to get more refined the longer they hung out together, and although he'd slowly picked up on some of her tells back where they were from, he'd gotten considerably better about it here. Something that hadn't necessarily been intentional, at first, so much as quiet observation, but it was difficult not to pay particular attention to certain details the more they hung out together.
She was, after all, someone he found important enough to care about. In the minor, distant ways that he could.
The smile he returns isn't much better, the corners of his mouth briefly shifting upwards, but it was enough to give her a more gentler look. Far different than the usual gruff exterior he'd normally try to play up around most people. Any greeting he might have given, however, was disregarded in favor of simply nodding in her direction before his eyes would drift back down to his own tea.
Waiting for her to speak first, as he generally wasn't sure how to breech the subject and was considering just starting with a normal conversation until her questions has him peering over his cup.]
... No, but considering the way you've been actin', it must be something important.
[Fuuka is quiet for a moment, just feeling the warm cup in her hands and considering the situation. Not really thinking about how to respond so much as she's just lost in her own thoughts. And it seems, for the moment, she might have so much as even lost her place in reality, before she finally speaks.]
Prompto's gone home. Temporarily.
[She doesn't say it with sadness so much as... perhaps a quiet, solemn thoughtfulness.]
Ignis-san told me. His amulet has remained, which means he'll be back before long. After... [Her hands squeeze the cup with uncertainty.] ...whatever he goes through, back at home.
[Even if there was a blessing in that he'd only returned home for the while, it was nevertheless a loss, and Fuuka would worry both for him, and quietly about their relationship, until he returned home.]

... do you know what happened?
